The validity of the results generated by our screening tool is naturally highly dependent on input data. Our tool is very complex on the inside and contains a huge amount of trustworthy data, but if one enters wrongful or lacking information about a product, the results will reflect this.
Here, we will explain three types of verification and how you may use your screening results with each type.

It is solely the client’s responsibility, that input data is correct and valid. The screening result can be used in non-public sales operations (projects, tenders etc). Målbar takes no responsibility for the results. The client can solely refer to this result as; calculated via Målbars tool, but not verified by Målbar.

Verified by Målbar
Målbar verifies that the input data provided by the client lies within the “normal” range and that any claim of sustainable aspects is documented. We also check if the mass balance is accurate and if any materials/processes are forgotten or mistyped. The client can then refer to the screening result as verified by Målbar.
Main result + uncertainty may be communicated (B2B only)
Notice that Målbar provides a verification report including disclaimers on all product screenings verified by Målbar.

Bureau Veritas is one of the largest companies in the world working to inspect, classify, consult and certify environments across business fields. They verify the complete and precise screening result, allowing the client to use the result as an official PEF result.
Main result may be communicated (B2B and B2C)
General mandatory disclaimer:
The product has an expected emission of xx kilos of CO2eq. A formal verification report will be produced and delivered directly from third party. This verification report shall at all times follow any usage of the result. The result is valid until xx.xx.xxxx.
